Other reviewer's mentioned it, but yeah in college, at IU, in Bloomington, Indiana--circa 2003/4, this stuff was 2.99 a 12pk, meaning, about 6.50 for 24 beers. The stuff was pale, fizzy, and smelled like sugar, and grain alcohol. It tasted like sour milk, and gave a headache after about 11 fluid ounces were consumed. I must've drank 100's, and somewhere there exists a picture of my Vietnamese housemate, balancing one on his head, posed in front of a refrigerator stocked--Dr. Dre. style--with about 60 cans of Reibenbach Ice.

Wow again I remember buying this beer at Albertsons almost 5 years ago for $2.99 a 12 pack, this being the better of the Reibenbach beers. This one had more of a malty taste than the lager and actually quenched my thirst out at the river. Do yourself a favor, splurge and buy the PBR instead your hangover will thank me later.

Pours a golden yellow with a weak white head that melts immediately to a small ring.
Aroma is almost non-descript. Pretty mild on the ager yeast and any adjuncts they may use.
Flavor is sweet malt balanced (yes, I said balanced) with bitter hops.
Mouthfeel is typical BMC.
Good brew to just power down and get drunk with.

A link on Gluek's website claims this is contract-brewed for Albertson's Grocery...where I obtained a 12-pack for $5.
Nothing outstanding about the appearance -- medium gold with a bit of fizz.
Aroma is grainy, a bit of malt and cereal, yet something slightly heavier.
Dextrin and grains mix with a watery mouthfeel, yet this isn't a total write-off. There's a light malty taste to this, very mild floral hops, raisin?! and a bit of a coppery finish. Almost like a very watery bock.
Odd "style", odd beer, yet not entirely gross... I just won't be buying it again.
