Pours a medium-dark golden. A thin, creamy white head appears for a moment then goes away completely. It does leave some lace down the glass, however.
Nostrils are hit with some big sweetness. Mostly vanilla. Some grainy notes as well.
Taste follows through with the vanilla. Lots of honey too. Minor carmel malt flavors. Hops are virtually nil. Just a touch in the finish to help dry this one out. Everything here is pleasant, but it seems a little forced. Almost like cream soda.
Medium-light bodied. Quite smooth. Loses carbonation as it sits, and starts to get a little syrupy. Consume this one fast, or face the consequences.
This would probably get a little over-sweet after a couple.
These J. James beers have some odd sweetness to them. They seems fake, although they do not taste bad. I did enjoy this one, but it just doesn't have it all together in order to score very high.
Once again, thanks for sharing the supply, Bighuge!

This is the best of the Jeremiah Jones bunch....a buddy got 50 cases free and I've got about 4 of them...this is not a great micro by any means but is smooth...drinkable.and has some flavor for a cream ale...it is golden in color...with a 1 inch white head that fades quickly..the nose is sweet vanilla...on the buds it is smooth with some heavy sweetness....but not too sweet...I'd guess the bittering at about a 1!!! For free beer this isn't bad, and I'd drink it over most macro's...I wouldn't pay micro prices for it though..

The appearance is a golden orange. A nice little white head dwindles down to nothing in no time at all. Some soft malt tones on the nose. A little sweet tinge also. There's almost a bit of a cloying sweetness to this one. A little heavy on the vanilla extract type of flavor. Body is a nice medium. Pretty average though.
Thanks to my buddy Dude for a free case of this brew.
