Stone ground ceremonial cacao, gingerbread, nutmeg & cinnamon , macadamia nut, a touch of vanilla, velvety texture with dark chocolate bitterness through the finish.

Poured in a a tulip glass. Pours a viscous jet black with a very fine wispy head. Pungent aroma of coffee, cloves, dark chocolate, oak, nutmeg. An almost off putting initial flavor that immediately transitions into one of the complex flavor palettes I’ve encountered in a beer! This is where the “chai” in the brewer’s title comes in! Wow! Mouthfeel is moderated and tannic. Very delicate carbonation. Overall, this is one of the most complex and unique beers I’ve ever had! Well worth the steep price!
