12oz brown bottle. No information about the beer or the brewery (other than the address)on the label. I know it is made in the old Cold Springs Brewery.

Beer pours a golden brown. Big head to start it then quickly fades, but never completely disappears. Some nice lacing. Beer smells like a pale ale, lots of hops and a little floral in there as well.

I get the tan part of this beer and its not too bad. However the black seems to be missing. I can't detect very much malt. Not much trace of either a stout or a porter in this one. Having said that, the beer is drinkable and has a decent mid-sized hop bite. I can drink this, but it was just not what I expected from the name.
