I scored a single can at the 99Cent store. Im glad i didnt buy a sixer. The can says it is from the Old European Brewing Co. Cold Springs Mn. I have searched and searched and can only find Gluck brewing. I guess it is contract brewed.
I poured this golden beer out and much to my dismay, i saw, what seemed to be 1/4 inch tooth picks floating around in it. I hope it was yeast that settled and hardened in the cracks of the bottom of the beer.
The smell is much like all other "Cold Springs" delicacy's. Sickly sweet with a hint of Alcohol.
I did venture to sip it, hoping i didnt choke on the little sticks and found that this was one of the worse beers i have ever tasted.
maybe, and i hope, i got a bad can of this stuff, and i am sure some of the more light hearted BA's out there wouldnt have even ventured a taste of this unbecoming beer, but what can i say. I want a mug.
Like Cold Springs in general, i would avoid this one like the plague.
