Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.

Best before 4/13/15.

Pours a clear reddish-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, red wine, wood, and cardboard aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, red wine, and cardboard flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of wood bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is interesting, but it seems a bit oxidized all around.

Serving type: bottle.
