Bought this at Bottle Barn. Wet hop, made with local hops? Yes please.
Slightly murky, amber body. Dirty white head fizzles out to a ring with sporadic pools of foam. Not much lacing.
Pineapple and tropical fruit, with some grapefruit. Sweet, bready malts with honey and caramel.
The taste is thankfully better. Citrus and tropical fruits from the hops, with dry, cracker malts. A little bit of spice, with a lingering bitterness. Slightly oily from the fresh hops, and crisp from the dry malts.
A good wet hop ale, and good to see this local brewery bottle seasonal stuff.

A pleasant and drinkable pale ale. Pours a hazy yellow with a fluffy short-lived head and lots of carbonation from the bottom. The aroma is pleasantly hoppy, with some citrus and a little honey. The flavor has a solid pale malt backbone with cirtrusy and piny hops, with a gentle piny bitterness on the finish, marred by a little soapiness. The mouthfeel is large and kind of bubbly.
