Pours a dark reddish brown with fine head.
Smell is malty and sweet with notes of raisins, dried fruit and cheddar.
Taste is malty and sweet with notes of raisins, sharp cheese, port, dried fruit and oak. Solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very good barley wine, that probably would benefit from aging.
