500ml bottle

A- Muddy orange colour, very little head even in case of hard pouring, no retention or lacing to speak of

S- A touch of malt sweetness (caramel)

T- Sweet upfront, with slight bread and caramel dominated by a muddy/earthy feel (bad use of yeast?). Even sweeter (too sweet) in finish and aftertaste with a citric touch. I guess this was supposed to feel refreshing

M- Medium body with quite dense carbonation trying to make up for low quality. As mentioned, overall feel is a bit murky

O- This was meant to be a sweet, refreshing amber ale. Not an overly difficult challenge, but it failed miserably

The head is made of pretty and fine bubbles but it fades really quickly. The body is of an opaque red orange color. Not too much to say about the smell. maybe a bit overly citric. The taste is more interesting. It's actually quite subtle with a vast array of flavors. The fruitiness is clearly noticeable, with some red fruits and a juicy bite of peach, but there's also a spiced wooden character and some lightly harsh cocoa notes. Quite pleasing, if it weren't for the annoying citric aftertaste. I wonder if that's something the brewer wanted. Mouthfeel is quite consistent, and better than one could expect considering the absence of head. Not great, but really ok.
