This beer is approaching 3 years old, and was the first beer I received as a Charter Member of Michael Jacksons World Beer Tour". In fact I was the 62nd person to sign up as I was told, not that has anything to do with the beer, just the babbling of an Old Beer Swiller.
Pours a somewhat murky deep amber to burnished copper color, the head moderate in size, frothy in consistency and the lace left behind, fine sticky sheets. Malt dominates the nose, nutty sweet, hints of fusel alcohol, quite pleasant nose overall. Front is sweet, the top is middling in feel, quite acidic, hops pleasant but not overpowering and the aftertaste lingering and quite dry. Once again the beer has a more mellow or fuller body, but not much better or worse for that matter.

Amber colour, bits of sediment sat at the bottom of my glass. Herby hop aroma. Slight hint of sweetness, but for the most part dry. Very hoppy flavour, and not too over the top at all, i don't mind it, better than i remebered it to be.

Lots of backbone - very firm and interesting. Finished a little bitter for what I expected of the style.
