Five speciality malts make up Rebellion Black's deeply complex grist. Hot wort percolates through a bed of cocoa nibs on Cascade hops infusing our stout with dark chocolate smoothness, in subtle contrast to the coffee-like intensity from the roasted malts.
Malt: Pale, Crystal, Chocolate, Aromatic, GNO, Dextrin, Carafa, Black.
Hops: Fuggles, Cascade.
Other: Cocoa Nibs.

L: Black colour with one finger of tan head that diminishes quickly but leaves plenty of lacing.
S: Roasted coffee.
T: Rich coffee and dark chocolate. Became increasingly complex and inviting as the beer warmed.
F: A little thin maybe but smooth mouthfeel and gentle carbonation.
O: An easy-drinking oatmeal stout. Smoky and dry but not bitter. Best beer I’ve tried so far from Rebellion. Best drunk at cellar temperature (12C/54F).
