1litre growler fresh from the brewery.
L: Hazy, deep orange colour with one finger of foam and spotty lacing.
S: Zesty citrus, underripe tropical fruit and chalk.
T: Follows the nose plus a 100% NZ, grassy, vinous aftertaste.
F: Light body and a dry finish. Slightly underwhelming mouthfeel saved by tingling carbonation.
O: An enjoyable, low ABV pale ale brewed with fantastic NZ hops. Lacks some punch on this cold March evening but will be a smashing summertime thirst quencher (if they re-run this small batch in July/Aug).
