Helles, roughly translating as pale, is a style of malt forward lager originating from Munich, Germany. Malty and bready but not overly sweet. The finish is dry with a restrained bitterness and understated floral hop character. Unfiltered so the yeast is retained in the final beer which adds extra depth and complexity to the flavour without compromising on drinkability.
Diverging from tradition and because we don't have to follow German purity laws, we added orange peel to the hop back adding a subtle pithy bitterness and another note of complexity.

1L growler fresh from the brewery.
L: Golden colour with a faint haze and clouds of bubbles rising to two fingers of white foam.
S: Bright and lemony.
T: Lemon, white bread and a hint of spicy, zesty orange.
F: Medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp & clean & dry.
O: A very pleasant helles-style lager. Has loads of character compared to a regular pale lager. Perfect on this hot & sweaty July evening in Buckinghamshire, England. Have awarded an extra 0.25 overall for delivering top refreshment in just a tad over 4% ABV.
