Extremely hoppy, with a thick, pillowy mouthfeel. Very low bitterness and a sweet, rounded finish.
Hopped all the way through with Citra and Talus, bringing big tropical fruit juiciness and a bold citrus edge, with that distinct orange pith character we love from Talus (our new favourite hop).

1L growler fresh from the brewery.
L: Opaque, ochre colour with two fingers of head that collapses quickly to a smear but leaves sheets of lacing.
S: Orange, white peach and something green and woody.
T: Orange pith, lime peel, a hint of rose and a woody, piney back end. Bitterness starts low but builds.
F: Medium body, soft & rounded mouthfeel, zero carbonation and a very dry finish.
O: A solid American-style IPA from Buckinghamshire, England. Not sure it fully makes the grade as a NEIPA because the citrus/tropical fruit flavour is dialled down and it’s too bitter, but it’s very enjoyable nonetheless. I had on tap at the brewery recently and that was better and much closer to the brewery’s own description but this review is of the pour I’ve just had from a growler (picked up from the brewery just this afternoon but, judging from the lack of ‘pop’ when I opened the swing-stopper, maybe not a perfect seal on the bottle).
