1L growler fresh from the brewery.
L: Clear, amber colour with clouds of natural carbonation rising to form a thin, short-lived cap.
S: Caramel.
T: Toffee, caramel and honey from the English and German malt with a gently fruity apricot and melon finish.
F: Medium body, slick and oily mouthfeel with a nicely bitter finish.
O: Brewed with US hops but still very much an English style of beer. The Alora hops are muted, permitting the Simpson’s T50 malt to properly deliver the goods. Very good and, at just over 3%, incredible sessionable.
