Bottled on 1/14/14. Has "76" printed next to the date, so I assume this is project #76.
Pours to a huge buff head that stays big and makes a very delicate lace all the way down. Color is a nice clear copper. Aroma is a perfect blend of spicy, citrusy hops and not-so-pale malts. Flavor is strong on hops yet has enough interesting malt favors to balance. It is not sweet or heavy but it celebrates good malt while showcasing the very best of U.S. Hop varieties. Mouthfeel is light-medium with just the right carbonation. Overall, this has got to be about the best hop-forward beer I have had in a while. I'm loving how the Munich and caramel malts are invited to the hop party.
This is damn near sex in a glass, and that's saying a lot from someone who has been critical of the hop craze of late.
