Pours a hazy gold color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of yeast, wheat, pale malt, earthiness, and a hint of floral hops. Fits the style of a Leipzig Gose. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of wheat, pale malt, earthiness, hint of butter, and a hint of floral hops. Overall, lacking the salt aspect, might be slightly infected, average at best.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/4/2018. Pours moderately hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, coriander, peppercorn, red/green apple, white grape, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/light acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, coriander, peppercorn, red/green apple, white grape, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness and coriander/yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, coriander, peppercorn, red/green apple, white grape, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spicness balance; and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from tart/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly grainy/sticky/acidic, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice Gose. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly tart/spicy finish. Not overly lactic or salty. Very flavorful and not too watery for the ABV. Not as much acidity as expected, but they only partially kettle soured it. Nicely balanced Lacto/German yeast, coriander, and salt; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

This is my favorite every day beer. It pains me that it's only available once a year. I love the sour notes that aren't too sour; I love that the citrus notes really come through as well. It's honestly a very unique beer that I've only been able to mildly come close too in one other beer (Mill Creek -Lil Darlin). Love this beer!

Poured from a 12oz bottle into glass. Hard pour resulted in three finger head which rapidly diminished to one small island. No lacing. Hazy, yellow colored body. Stamped bottling date is 07/28/17.
Lemony smell.
Taste is lemony twang, very salty and sharp.
Mouth feel is thin and salty.
Basic gose type beer. Refreshing for summer heat.

This is really the first sour beer i've ever had. So i probably just don't have a pallet for it yet. But as of right now, its one of the worst beers i've ever had. I can understand how it would be refreshing or appealing to someone during the summer, but to me it tastes like olive juice mixed with sour cream.

Drank from the bottle. Smell was extremely faint but with some hint of bread. The taste was just not for me. Salty and tart with some under notes of bread. The feel was lightly carbonated and easily drank. Not one I would drink again.

12 oz. brown bottle purchased in TN and served in a pint glass.
Bottled 05-27-2017 ? a bit hard to read)
Hazy dark golden color with a good white head that shows decent retention.
Aroma: mainly bready with hints of lemons.
Flavor: moderately tart and bready, with touches of yeast, salt, lemon and citrus zest. Not at all sweet but only very light bitterness.
Lively carbonation; medium-light in body; dry finish.
Overall: Mild, easy drinking and refreshing for style, yet plenty of flavor and character. Recommended.
