Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazy, copper-tinted gold coloring with a clingy, low profile, white head. Aromas of roasted caramel sweetness, honey, grassy hops notes, pepper spice, and tropical fruit notes. Flavors are grassy and herbal forward, very vegetal, with a backbone of tangy honey and caramel. Subtle bitterness, with a dry undertone on an otherwise slick body. The aftertaste is more bitter greens, lingering on through the dry, slick finish.
