Using our 3 most fruity and citrus forward wild yeasts this IPA is hopped with Citra, Simcoe, Centennial and Chinook. The hop profile and Brettanomyces are a wonderful match of grapefruit, orange peel and earthy pine. Wheat, Oat and Pilsner malts create a soft & smooth malt character that finishes slightly dry. Hazy and Hoppy this beer is all about accentuating the citrus forward hops with specific wild yeasts that create a small amount of “funky” character. Remember its Brett, so its not sour!

Advertised as Brett...Not Sour IPA. I will review based on this being an IPA, not a wild ale.
Pours a hazy orange/gold. Fluffy chalk white head that lingers. Great lacing on the glass.
Smell is of lemon, white pepper, some orange and light tropical citrus. Light floral notes present as well. Nice hop presence, with a slight brett character present.
Taste has a bit more of the barnyard must that the nose hints at. Lemon continues, accentuated by some grapefruit and hop bitterness. The yeasty, peppery character lingers on the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a nice malt backbone support that doesn't do anything more than provide a nice body and a slight sweetness on the palate.
Overall a very good beer, and one of the better ETF beers I have had. A nice example of Brett fermentation in an IPA.
