Had Vines Batch Number 2 poured from 25.4-oz. bomber, cellared for about two years, into hand-blown footless tulip.
Beautiful cherry-red beer with clarity and a pink head too soon gone. The aroma, the best aspect of this beer, is tart cherry but also other full fruit aromas, grape (of course) and especially citrus. On drinking, more than expected tartness overwhelms nearly all else, except citrus, grape and other fruit come through in the finish.

Poured into a tulip glass.
Look: slightly hazy and light purple on the pour leading to a beautiful ruby color in the glass. A large bubbly pink head formed and left quickly.
Aroma: complex with red grapes, barnyard funk, oak, lemons, and tart cherries.
Taste: puckeringly sour. A rich wine-like flavor that ranged from white to red and back. There was plenty of funky notes particularly at the end. Also lots of oak .
Feel: medium-bodied with lively carbonation.
Overall: tart, complex, and very enjoyable. Highly recommended.
