Poured from a growler that I picked up at the brewery 2 days ago. This is this first pour from the growler.
A murky brown body with streams of co2 throughout. The head was a a massive two finger one that was gone in seconds.
Smells of fruity brown sugar. Nice but perhaps a bit too phenolic.
Dark fruit and spice permeate this brew. Despite being under 6% abv, this offering has a noticeable alcohol hotness.
Medium bodied but needed a bit more carbonation for this Belgian. The growler may have contributed to the low carbonation.
A very welcome addition to a good local brewery. It is nice to find another unique belgian style ale in town.

A - Dark amber in color, bordering on brown. Solid foamy one finger brown head with decent retention and excellent lacing.
S - Faint aroma of banana and spice. Not as strong as I was hoping for. The yeast dominates the smell and gives hints of a Wit or Hefeweizen.
T - Strong yeasty taste up front with hints of banana. Very light spicy hop taste comes through before fading to tastes of other earthy spices.
M/D - A little thin on the mouthfeel but still very smooth and easy drinking. A nice offering from these guys and would be more than happy if it came around again.
