Yazoo brewer Josh Lightell came up with the perfect beer for getting back to work after the holidays. A refreshing German Lager in the Dortmunder style with a soft bready body, and a noble hop finish.

Extremely well made lager...
Checks all the boxes and is absolutely a good spring time beer... the cans I have are around a month old and still vibrant and delicious..
Perfect balance... one of those beers that would be good anytime of the year but especially as the warmer days approach...
Highly recommended...

12oz bottle (unreadable date - probably 6 months old) poured into a perfect pint glass at fridge temp, no ABV listed on bottle. The beer pours hefe-hazy in gold color with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of tiny bubbles. The aroma is minimal with a hint of malt and yeast. The taste is semisweet pale malt with moderate grassy & floral hop bitterness. Little depth, lasting moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Fairly clean lagering. Overall, ok. I'm tired of Yazoo's black ink dates on brown bottles. Constantly shows up here 4-6 months old and very difficult to see dates on full bottles at the store.

Pours a nice golden color with a medium head. Bready on the nose and on the initial taste. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice hop bite at the finish. Similar to a pilsener but much more flavor. Perfect spring/summer beer.
