Pours a clear coppery brown with a respectable buff-colored head. Aroma is hoppy and grassy with a strong fruity overtone that is as much apple/pear as citrus. Hoppy flavor is quite bitter but not fiercely so, with hints of grass and fruit. Texture is smooth and minimally fizzy. An interesting IPA, not my favorite but still worthy.

Poured at the tap room at the brewery. Poured a golden color with hints of rusty orange, a thick white cap that fades slow and leaves descent lacing. The smell is of citrus and herbs on top of biscuity, bready tones. The taste follows with a bready underneath, a touch of caramel, and a good dose of citrus, orange peel, and grapefruit at the back. The aftertaste reveals a more spicy, a hint of black pepper, and herbal notes. The mouthfeel is creamy, but a bit thin. Overall, a great IPA.

Thanks Gale for sharing this growler straight from the taproom in Nashville! Review from written notes.

Pours into a small tulip with a frothy cap of white foam that settles to a wispy skim. Clear saturated burnished gold tone, bleeding into orange. Looks good.

Herbal hop aroma, some citrus rind and sun tea as well.

Soft bitterness, pale malt breadiness, orange peel note, lasting aftertaste of bitter herbal hops. Medium carbonation, light bodied. Quenching in the warm weather. Very easy drinking, a couple pints would be no problem. I'm curious to know what hops were used in #50.
