Bottle poured into pint glass. Bottled August 30th 2011. From the Yazoo blog: "First wort hopped with Nugget, then Magnum at 75 mi n and 30 min, Nugget at 30 min, Cascade at 5 min, and dry hopped with Columbus."
A- Fairly dark amber. Very well carbonated with 3 fingers of sticky, loose off white head.
S- Not a huge nose on this guy. Mostly citrus hop notes. Some grapefruit, with what seems to be slight orange notes with it. A little bit of bready malt notes in the background.
T- Much bigger flavors than the aroma would suggest. A very nice mix of grapefruit and pineapple fruit notes. A nice, lingering, but not overwhelming bitterness.
M- Nice, medium bodied. Par for the course for this the 57th edition of the Hop Project series.
O- Very good. These can be hit or miss, but the last couple I've had have been winners to be sure.

A- pours a dark caramely colored amber with a finger of off white head. Decent head retention with some lacing.
S- aromas of toasty biscuity malt blends nicely with a spicy hop note. Yellow grapefruit peel and tangerine citrus notes flesh out in the middle. Finishes with a hint of pine with a woody character.
T- Aggresive hop bitterness hits the palate at first with a piney leafy hop flavor. Notes of juicy yellow grapefruit and spicy herbal hops give this brew some depth. Finishes very dry with a toasty malt character.
MF- very active slick mouthfeel with a light body. The carbonation is pretty active and detracts from the beer overall.
D- very hoppy with a crunchy bitterness. The drinkability is average.
Overall a solid IPA.

12oz bottled August 30th, 2011. Served at around 45F.
Pours hazy copper with a large tan head that leaves a ton of rings of lacing and holds a small foamy cap.
Aroma is some apricot, along with grapefruit and orange citrus, a bit of pineapple, caramel and bread. Good strength.
Flavor is apricots, oranges and grapefruit, pineapple, resinous hops, sweet caramel malt in the middle and finishes with nice bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, somewhat creamy with strong carbonation.
Another good Hop Project from Yazoo...
