Turmherren Pils
Weiss Rössl Bräu

Clear yellow, almost golden, two finger white head that you can hear popping away rather fast.
Smell of grains, grass, skunk, sulphur and a touch of metal.
Surprisingly sweet taste after the smell, but only at first, with sweet dough, then bringing in some spiciness, lemon zest, some floral notes, a very faint sourness, but ending with a bad metallic dryness, like stuffing a fistful of coins down your throat. Aftertaste settles some clearer hops, but the metal is still there.
Light bodied, rather fizzy.
Something didn't go right here. Drinkable, but you wouldn't ask for a second one. A pity.

Another surprise from mmy mixed case. Poured into a half liter Bitburger glass. Clear golden color, with faint head. Active carbonation...looks good. Smell not so much. Taste, almost metallic, I could believe this if I poured from a can. Not sure if this was intentional, or a bad batch. I've had other good styles from this brewery.
