Very pale colour, clear, small poorly retained head. Aroma was Spalt hop with hint of apple. Tasted grassy and fragrant, had hints of roasted malts similar to a Dunkel. Fairly long, sourish finish, sharp kick at the end. Was well carbonated, slightly coarse, crisp texture. More complex than other Helles Lagers, but not as easy to throw back on a hot day, decent enough though.
