This was one of 3 spring seasonal offerings at Boscos.
It was served in a standard pint; the beer is dark amber with a cap of cream colored foam. It has really nice lacing.
It has a nose of caramel, whole grain bagel and some fruit.
Sweet and earthy with some back end bitterness. Caramel malts, ripe plum and some pine. I see from the description that there are 35 IBUs. They add a real bit of balance and some bite.
Decent heft in the mouth. I think this is a pretty solid red!

Tasted November 2003. (review from notes)
This beer was brewed special for the grand opening of Bosco's Little Rock. Reddish/golden color and good head retention. Obviously loaded with cascade hops in the aroma. The flavor is less bitter than expected, a blend of light crystal malt and American hops, slightly favoring the hops. Finishes tangy and bitter. No apparent flaws and very quaffable. A solid choice.
