2013 330 ml bottle purchased and consumed near the brewery in NZ (from notes)
Very dark brown with a light brown head.
Loaded with dark roasted malts with minimal burnt notes. low but noticeable coffee. A touch of smoke and a hint of dark chocolate. Lasting, mild-moderate bitter aftertaste of dark roasted grains and black coffee.
Medium-full body; excellent carbonation.
O: Rich but not overdone or challenging.
