My wife and I took a trip to New Zealand a few months ago (very tardy on logging this review, I know...) and as is typical of our vacations, the trip turned into a wine and beer tour of the country. Mac's was recommended by a couple locals so this is one that I gave a shot.
Clear. Light amber in color. Very fast rising carbonation. Frothy white head that dissipates quickly to a thin lacing. 2.75/5 Light grains in the aroma. More roasted than toasted. Grassy hops. Ever so slight green apple aroma. 3/5 For the flavor profile, very light cereal grains show up right away. Earthy. Grassy hops on the back end provide a slight bitterness. Aroma made me expect more from the flavor. Simple, nothing eye popping or shocking here. No off flavors to speak of. 3/5 Scrubbing bubbles sensation from the carbonation. Very crisp, clean, and lightly dry. Gone as soon as it's swallowed. Very light bodied. 3.25/5 Good beer to have with food or on a warm day. Very light bodied beer that sits comfortably and has a nice, enjoyable, familiar flavor. 3/5

(“Vienna style all malt lager”) 5.0% ABV / 330 ml brown bottle purchased in Wanaka and consumed a week later in Dunedin NZ. BB date of ? 2014.
Pours clear deep amber with a small off-white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Sweet malts with plenty of caramel and a bit of vanilla. A hint of floral hops.
Flavor: very tasty, malt forward beer. More flavor and especially malts than a typical Vienna lager. Enough hops to cut the sweetness and leave a very mildly bitter aftertaste.
Feel: medium-light body; semi-dry finish; smooth; good, medium carbonation.
O: a tasty malt bomb that I recommend with the caveat that it is not true to proclaimed style.

Clear, amber colour with a small head.
The aroma is dull with a hint of floral character but not a lot going on.
The flavour is malty and sweet. The sweetness dominates the palate and is disappointing. There is a touch of nuttiness along with light notes of floral hops.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. This only accentuates the sweetness.
Overall, a disappointing, underattenuated lager. Not recommended.

Appearance- Dark brown/orange, Small head and low carbonation, yet somehow the beer manages to provide a remarkable amount of lacing.
Smell-Limited roasted malt and slight herbal hop notes.
Taste- A little yeast and harsh malts which come through.
Mouthfeel- An uneventful beer experience, that was to light and bland, even when compared with the other toned down NZ lagers.
Drinkability- Not really my thing and to be honest. A-Its the worst of the three lagers. B-Hard to finish the ~3oz taster. There are much better offerings, so don't waste your time.

Appearance:
Very dark coppery orange ochre, Very little head, almost no carbonation. Doesn't thrill me, but you never know
Smell:
Toasted malty flavours, no hint of fragrance from hops. Maybe a little sweet fruitiness. Not much though. Very bland.
Taste:
Very dark malty and yeaty. Not much sweetness, and not much depth. Mouthfeel is very flat, like water. I feel a beer like this needs some fragrance or sweetness to keep it balanced. Just doesn't do it for me...
