Dark amber body with a guaze of sticky, light cream head. LIght roasted malt on the nose with big caramel aromas--slightly scorched. Faint tobacco. LIght to medium bodied lager with a slightly overcarbonated feel. Kind of fizzy. Sweetish caramel malt with a roasty edge. A little too sweet for me without much hop bitterness or roastiness to back it up. Still, not too bad. A good quaffer, especially if you're stuck in Westport and your van is broken down. The brewer is a great guy too!
