Pours a dark brown with hints of red, almost translucent with no clouding. Almost no head but visible carbonation.
The smell has lots of malt sweetness with a good measure of bitter hops, no off smells, very balanced.
The taste is initially sweet which develops a good complex flavor with a hoppy finish.
Mouthfeel is good, very smooth and clean with mild carbonation.
Drinkability is good balanced, clean and relatively light. Excellent with food.
