Appearance: Small light brown head, medium bubbles.
Aroma: Deep earth, rich brown sugar, molasses and herbs.
Tates: Savory, dank, herbal, bitter, rich brown toast. Earthy
Medium bodied, coating, oily, tingly
Finish: medium bitter, herbal sage, bay leaf.
This is an english bitter or ESB. You decide. Not an american red.
Love the name and art work. Hadn't heard or seen this. Reminds me of a classic ESB with ringwood yeast. Oh i remember shipyard old thumper in some ways.
