Had it on draft at the brewery, seemed very fresh. Poured from draft into a pint glass. Decent head but weak lacing. Floral-piney smell and taste. I ordered another to go with nachos. Not bad.

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a slightly cloudy dark golden amber color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is slightly hoppy, malty, some citrus. The taste is slightly hoppy, malty, some citrus. Medium body. Overall, a different take on the style.

On tap at the brewery; poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - amber with little carbonation and some hazy sediment; lacing is minimal.
Smell - very powerful citrus and floral nose; even after this sits, the smell from the bottle and from the glass is incredible; it's clear this beer was engineered to be a nose pleaser!
Taste - the nose is so hop strong that it can fool the taste sense; no balance, overly hopped which works fine with taste, but not on feel.
Feel - great hop bitterness right from the first sip; problem is, there is no malt backbone and the bitterness takes on aggressively hopped gone very wrong.
Overall - odd beer; the nose is truly spectacular, the feel shows signs of a lazyily crafted brew.

Dark murky color with pillowy off white head.
Piney, citrus smell maybe the slightest hint of malt
Taste, some hint of hops but less than expected
I've had this bottle a while, probably too long
