Draft, taster glass
A – Deep gold moving towards amber. Very sudsy foam stand with longer retention.
S – Spicy hops and light toast. Pretty clean. The lightest touch of malt sweetness.
T – Very bready maltiness with spicy hop flavors and bitterness bringing up the back.
M – Fairly full-bodied. Carbonation gives it a bit of a sudsy lushness. Good balance of sweet and bitter. Mildly dry finish.
O – A moderate, drinkable Czech-type lager. Not exciting, but solid.

Oh man, I had this beer probably over a decade ago. Dark gold/light amber in color, thinner, 1/4" white head. Aroma was lacking hops. Was lacking overall, just didn't smell like much but a feint hint of barley, but more oxidized, earthy than it should be.
Taste right away reveals itself to have set the goal at a BMC like product. There is little in the way of lager yeast flavors. For a steam beer, like the originator, Anchor, this is lacking that mildly fruity yeast appeal unique to style. There is little in the way of malt character. There is little in the way of hop flavor or character. There is even a lack of carbonation but plenty of water though. I guess on the upside for this beer, there are no off flavors, infection or spoilage issues.
Pretty average and mundane stuff. Glad I only had one 12oz bottle of it to kill. Only repeat chance is if I'm gonna be hanging out with someone who doesn't like beer that much.

L: Pours a slightly hazy amber orange color with a very small fizzy head and no lacing.
S: Some slight earthy and nutty malt, mixed wit a floral hop. Not the strongest aroma.
T: Sweet caramel, some earthy and nutty malt, with a medium floral hop and bitterness. Has a bit of a watery taste to it.
F: Medium body and carbonation.
O: This is ok but overall its not very interesting.

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a nice yellow color, nice carbonation, with a pretty nice small off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, grass/wheaty. The taste is malty, yeasty, grassy/wheaty. Medium body. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

I thought it was the best of their lighter beers they had on tap. Not much of a head when it was delivered to the table but it went down smoothly. In fact, it was gone before the food showed up so it must have been good or I was just thirsty.

Hilarious art work on the label and a great story behind this beer.
Copper body, light chill haze with a bubbly tan head. Aromas of lager yeast, heavy fruity sweetness, caramel malt. Eh...mediocre flavor at best. Caramel malt and sweet fruity booze. Pass.
