I tried the TFA at the Pink Moon Saloon in Adelaide. I didn't have time to write a review on the spot. From what I remember I thought it was pretty good. Poured an opaque black with ecru head that left some lace. There was some roast and pine in both the scent and taste. Not in the same league as Stone's Sublime but its decent and worth a try.

Tap Moor Brewery, Bristol - Pours black with a small tanned foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Smell - Slight floral hops, roasted malts, little chocolate. Taste - piney, citrusy sweet with a dry bitter finish. This is brilliantly balanced. Some black IPA's taste too much like burnt rubber but this certainly isn't one of them. Recommended.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
