July 2018: Shared 660 ml bottle, ABV is 10%. Orange to amber colour, moderate white head. Aroma of whisky with some peat smoke, notes of dusty and wet basement, not very pleasant. Sweet flavour, whisky with some salty and smoky notes, moderate bittering hops. Not really great, but could have been worse.

Tap at Moor, Bristol - Pours little hazy orange, small white foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma - sweet smell of dried fruits, fruit notes - peach, orange rind. Taste - sweet, oily mouth feel, caramel with a light alcoholic warming finish. Fantastic barley wine with a huge amount going on.
