375ml bottle. Label identifies this as 2023 vintage, with best by 'END 2033 (& BEYOND)'.
Black colored body. Larger bubble tan colored head, and this quickly reduces to islands and a full ring. Leaves behind scattered tiny lacing spots.
Aroma has a sour and funky note. Whisky barrel, and a whiff of toasted malts.
Taste is Brett sour, and whisky barrel boozy. Flavors of roasted malts, a bit of chocolate and dark fruit. Funk of leather, tobacco, hay, and grass. Aftertaste fades quickly with a whisky undertone.
Medium mouthfeel. Vinous, with a drying finish. Good carbonation.
Brett yeast and whisky barrel aging combine to brew a stout with sour, funk, and whiskey influences. Not seldom encountered.
