Had on cask at the Bricklayers' Arms. Very dark with a couple cm of head, smells fairly chocolatey but nothing like the taste - at first a bit bitter and a faint hint of chocolate but nothing to rave about. Then, all of a sudden, a second wave of chocolate comes in - massive taste of chocolate, and ends on a bit of a citrus note, but the orange is surprisingly absent compared to the chocolate. Definitely the best chocolate beer I've had, I was originally a big fan of Young's Double Chocolate Stout but this puts it to shame. It leaves behind a massive, massive flavor and great smooth cask feel after you've finished a mouthful, and though it's extraordinarily tasty it's very easy to drink. Could easily have 2 or 3 pints of this without a problem. Definitely give this a go if you find it.
