500ml bottle in Kyiv. Hazy yellow with a large white creamy head and solid lacing. Mild malty aroma with banana, citrus, and yeast hints. Grainy, fruity taste, slight honey, malty bitter-sweet aftertaste, thin feel, and low carbonation. Not your typical INBEV garbage beer. Surprised was I

I'm not a fan of wheat beers and actually I didn't know it was one ; )
Looks pretty creamy, great head. Amazing head actually. Aroma is kind of like an alcoholic banana milkshake.
Tastes like an alcoholic banana milkshake also. To be honest, I usually don't like this kind of beer...but I like this. It's not too heavy and still kind of light. Maybe I am just in a good mood. But yes, this is smooth, has an amazing mouth feel, it's creamy like a Guinness. There are no off alcohol or tequila like flavours as found in many Ukrainian beers.
Taste in addition to banana is kind of woody, a little smokey. This tastes expensive but the bottle looks kind of simple. Considering the price, this is a really impressive beer.

Orange hazy color, medium white head. Malty aroma with citrus notes. The taste is malty and sweet with fruity undertones and some orange. Very drinkable.

Pretty sure my first Ukranian tick... Buckeyeboy provided this one.. Slightly hazed yellow.. grainy and sorta sick smelling bile notes.. Flavor is surprisingly okay, but doesn't strike me as a witbier... Not bad just probably not the best taken care of bottle... I appreciate the new to me bottle though.

Hazy yellow pour, two finger white head that doesn't last for long, leaving a sticky lace.
Smell of wheat, herbs, orchard fruit, orange peel, spicy yeasts.
Taste is a bit heavy with wheat malts, although kept somewhat refreshing by citrus zest and peel, coriander, spicy/minty herbs and a light fruitiness (some faint apricot, pear and apple). Mild bitterness in the finish, a bit dry also, but the wheat gets through to the aftertaste, and that's where it stays for a long while.
Medium to heavy body, medium carbonation, chewy and yeasty.
A nice East-European wheat beer, like others from around here, somewhere between a Belgian wit and a hefeweizen.

Notes from mid. 2010 I believe but not sure, no proper dating on them.
50 cl. draft @ cruise boat in Ukraine: pretty nice witbier especially given the fact that I usually don’t really dig the style, yeast, lemon, coriander taste, some wheat, coriander, good macro, probably better than a lot of Belgian takes on the style.
