On tap at the Au Brasseur Strasbourg. No ABV is given for any of their four beers on tap.
Pours a dark brown with a thick head. The exact color and consistency was hard to see in the very dark/dim lighting of the bar.
The nose is nice though unremarkable balancing dried fruits with Belgian malts.
The taste is almost like a Belgian dubbel, but with a peculiar added flavor - chocolate malt. Though it struck me as unusual, it actually works really well and balanced harmoniously with bitter hops, warming spices, burnt fruits, and a general grassy undertone.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this beer and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone in Strasbourg.

The color is a dark ruby red. Decent foam, beige in color.
The smell is a slightly roasted malt, and caramel. Under, some soapy notes, as in the others beers. And even the same citric, light (or maybe, just more covered by the dark malt).
Too light in the taste. Almost no body.
And here again, something not too right.
