Had a pint for $6.00 and a late lunch today at the brewpub after driving the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway with Da Boss.
Beer poured black with a nice tan head.
Nose had hints of light roast and a suggestion of dark chocolate.
Taste was a mild roasted malt base with a light touch of dark chocolate. Finished pretty well balanced.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall a pretty good representation of the style, glad i had.
