This is your basic summer beer, which goes great when sitting out of their back patio enjoying your meal. It's pretty light, as it should be. Good example of the style, though nothing earth-shattering. Enjoy this one.

a very american pilsener, generously hopped and with a bit more robustness on the grain front than either the german or the czech classics. clear and blonde with a golden shine and a lot of rising bubbles but not amassing much head. it smells like lager yeast and slightly metallic tinny grain, a little stale, but nice and hearty, more oomph to this than most have. the hops in the finish are rather intense too, they give some floral brightness as well as their expected bitterness. clean in feel, short finish, but at least a medium body on this gets a little filling for the style. its good beer, but it is neither traditional or wonderful, just a basic blonde beer suitable for those who dont care to try anything more interesting when visiting the dillon dam brewery.

Tried 6 Feb 2009 at the pub.
Pours a clear golden color. Minimal white head. Moderate carbonation. Light aroma of sweet grains. Tastes much like it smells, light, sweet and malty. Finishes dry with a slight hoppy bite. Light body.
A decent thirst quencher, would have preferred just a little more hoppiness in this.

Poured an effervescent golden with 1/2" off pearl colored head. Above average lacing & average head retention
S: Grainy & bready notes
T: Slight honey sweetness & breadyness up front. A bit of grainyness as this warms up with some lemony hops. Finishes crisp & a bit of grainyness
MF: Medium bodied with nice balance & carbonation
Drank pretty easy, was looking more hops & malts to be honest

The beer pours a pale gold color with a thin white lace head. The aroma is decent. It has a grainy yet slightly sweet, pale malt scent. It's dry with a touch of German hops and a lager yeast aroma. The taste is decent also. It has a light pale malt flavor that goes down easy and finishes dry and mildly bitter. It's grainy and slightly sweet; an above average flavor. The mouthfeel is good. It is a low bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking pilsner. The malt sweetness adds a nice flavor as well as the hops. It's well balanced; a fine sessions brew.

I found this beer to be a little on the dull side however it did have some nice hop character and malt sweetness. It poured a cloudy clear yellowish color with lots of little bubbles flowing to the top. It tasted a little acidic and bitter but was smooth and and tasted good. You might wanna pass this one up and try on of their other beers.
