what an interesting brew! just like the ice cream, vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. the pour is a little thin and watery without a big head or anything enticing, but the smell draws you in. its fruity and sweet like strawberry, bitter and earthy like fine dark chocolate, and creamy and sweet like top quality vanilla ice cream, honestly! the taste isn't quite as dramatic as the nose, since the fruit is overpowered by the dark malts and heavy cocoa character. the vanilla stays prominent though, and there is a nice interplay between black and white here. it isn't grossly sweet either, which is nice. a pint is no chore at all, even though I would call this a dessert beer. could stand a bit more carbonation and body, which are my main knocks against this otherwise interesting and delicious brew. id like to see this make it to the bottle so it could be a wider topic of conversation. as far as I know, nobody else makes one of these.

Very interesting beer as you get the smell and taste of chocolate, vanilla and raspberry. Nice roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, and berries which is exactly what it tastes like.
Very drinkable and interesting beer. I've always enjoyed the brews at Dillon Dam and was excited to try this one this Friday on tap at the brewery.
Very small 3 barrell batches from what I understand, so get it while you can!
