According to the writing on the label of the 330ml bottle it is an "Unfiltered Beer from Tank no. 13 – anniversary beer" (the kind of anniversary is not explained...). If you combine the name ("porfyra" means purple in Greek, which was the color of Byzantine emperors), with the Byzantine letters font and the fact that it is the only Greek strong lager so far, I think that marketing-wise it tries to create "memories" of past glories of Greece and a feeling of a traditional product of higher caliber. But let's get on to the tasting itself:

Appearance: Cloudy, light orange color, 2.5 finger white head with good retention.
Smell: Molasses, alcohol, some hops
Taste: Malty, earthy, grainy with some hints of molasses and notes of hop grains here and there; I could call it semi-sweetish but only slightly so.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, smooth texture, low carbonation.
Drinkability / Overall: I think it more or less fits the style although "strong lagers" are not my favorite kind. A bit more of alcohol would make it even more appropriate. Enjoyable if not anything else.
