5.1% ABV, 12% Plato.
Clear golden beer with little white head, only a ring of froth remains soon.
Smell - grain, unmalted materials, rice, rough and not very pleasant.
Taste - clean grainy, hops not distinguished.
Light body, soft carbonation.

Comes in a standard brown half-liter bottle with a pretty nice gold, red and white label with an impressive design. Ingredients conform to the purity law, with barley listed in addition to barley malt. Best before 7/21/04, I opened it on 2/21/04.
Pours a nice clear gold under a two finger white head wiht some body, good retention and a little lace. There's a nice malty nose with a hint of flowery hops. The mouth is fairly prickly and medium bodied. The taste features lots and lots of smooth barley, chased by a touch of hop bitterness. This bitter bite grows in the aftertaste until it becomes quite sharp. This is a good drinking beer!
