Comes in a standard brown half-liter bottle with the usual red, white and blue Rifey label. The name means "strong," but at 5.7%, I can't bring myself to call it that. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 7/8/04, I opened it on 2/27/04.
Another good product out of Perm. The color is a slightly pale clear gold under a 1.5 finger head that settles slowly and leaves some nice bits of lace. The nose is a bit on the sour side of malty, but is not unpleasant. The mouth is medium carbonated and fairly heavy on the tongue. The taste is mainly malt just a touch of the stale side, with a hint of sweetness characteristic of Russian strong lagers. There's a bit of a hoppy bite, a touch on the metallic side, but also not unpleasant. The aftertaste is malt. Certainly drinkable, I doubt I'd ever ask for it again.
