Taster at Ice Harbor Marina. Opaque brown pour, patchy fine head. Malty, nutty aroma with a sweet edge. Taste is standard for the style, nutty, mild sweetness. Gentle bitterness at the finish.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: rich brown hue with a bit of haze and a finger of tan foam. Very nice.
Smell: very light aroma of caramel and malt. Decent, but low in intensity.
Taste: moderately sweet with a good caramel character and a balancing bitterness. Pretty solid.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a really good creaminess for the style.
Overall: a highly drinkable, even sessionable, brown. I dig it.

Poured on tap. Dark brown and somewhat clear. Thin white head with a lot of legs. Aroma has a lot of nuttiness. Taste is very nutty with a good bitterness. Smooth but carbonated texture. Overall a very good nut brown.

Clean, London style brown ale. Malty, with notes of chocolate and coffee. Starts sweet and finishes a little bitter and crisp. Not hoppy like other Ice Harbor beers. Not generally served with heavy head, (usually 1/2 a finger) the foam will hold enough to lace the glass lightly. This is NOT a particularly "fizzy" beer, as such it isn't available in bottles, if you purchase in growlers the beer will hold it's carbonation for about 36 hours after you open the growler, Pigs will last about a week if kept cold.
