Thanks to woemad for this one. Hated 22oz format bottle, poured into 10oz goblet. Poured a hazy gold, with 1/2 inch of white head that had OK retention and light lacing.

The aroma was nice earthy grains, and had mellow, soft hops. The taste was pretty similar. This bottle had a few months on it, so the beer probably wasn't as crisp as when fresh, but it didn't really hurt it.

The body was smooth, even, and had a clean finish. Drinkability was good, I could easily see draining one these on a sunny afternoon. Overall, a very nice brew. Worth trying if you're in the Tri-Cities, or see it somewhere else.

22oz bottle purchased at the Ice Harbor brewpub in Kennewick, WA, for $3.99. This is a one-off brewed to celebrate the 50th running of the Columbia Cup (once known as the Atomic Cup) hydroplane race. Per Facebook:
"We celebrate 50 years of high-speed action on the water with this
Vienna style lager which is crisp and refreshing with a toasted malt aroma and flavor."

Poured a clear golden-amber hybrid of a color, kinda like a sunset, with a decent sized off-white head that left a fair amount of lace on the sides of my Jones Radiator mug.

Mildly toasted, nutty malts and soft floral hop greet the sniffer.

Nice, mild flavor to this. Initially nutty and sweet, it has a grassy, hop bitterness that fades in about halfway through. Refreshing but not revelatory.

For me, the weakest point of this beer is the mouthfeel. It’s just too soft and flabby, not crisp enough for the style.

A decent, light lager, but not a must-have. If I buy another next time I’m down in the Tri-Cities, it might be to pass on to a friend of mine who’s really into hydroplane racing and would love the label (for medical reasons he can’t drink alcohol, but he’s inferred his wife drinks to make up for it!), which is very cool, and I’ll try to get posted at some point.
