Stopped by the brewery and picked up a growler of this on my way home from visiting my parents (they live across the river from Pasco). I don't drink a lot of IPAs, I just decided to get it on the spur of the moment. I'm glad I did, as this is a nice IPA. It was very easy on the eyes. It poured a nice orangy gold. The head was very big, hung aaround for a while and had a trememdous amount of lacing. The smell was of big citrusy notes, like someone poured orange peel into it. There was also some more moderate floral hop scents in the background. The taste is predominantly of citrusy hops - duh - with a subdued maltiness in the background. This maltiness is not a unsung hero or a shy supporting player, but is being held at gunpoint by the hops at the rear of the building. This maltiness doesn't DARE assert itself to any greater extent. I really like the finish of this. Its dry and crispy but without a big palate thrashing pucker factor like a couple of IPAs I've known. While I'm not a big IPA drinker, I found it a little too thin for my porter/stout tastes. Maybe its fine for the style, I honestly don't know. This is perfectly drinkable for big hopheads but I think two pints will be plenty for me tonight. This is my first growler, and I'll definitely be going back for more beer. If you are in eastern Washington, this brewery is definitely worth your time.
BTW, according to a sign at the brewery, this has an abv of 7.5%

(at brewery, from notes) Nice gold orange color with citrus nose. Nice citrusy hop flavors. Good medium body and a fair bit of perceived malt. Pleasant dry finish.
