Looks good in its standard brown half-liter bottle with a beige and brown label featuring a very flowery etching of what must be the symbol for something. Rice and sugar are ingredients. Best before 3/10/04, I opened it on 2/27/04.

My goodness. Pours the color of pale tea under a thin layer of gaseous beige bubbles (can't bring myself to call it a head) that never musters much of anything and disappears quickly in no time. The nose is mild sour watermelon. I thought about giving this a 1 for smell, too, but it is not as powerfully acrid as its lighter cousin. The mouth is heavy and sour. The taste is terrible - sour mash, bad watermelon, no hops, no malt, no enjoyment. The name of this one is "Elite" but it is almost as bad as this brewery's "light" product.
